Behind the Breeze: How We Brought the Stylies Fan Series to Life in Shenzhen
There’s something special about a production that runs like a well-oiled machine—especially when it involves capturing the perfect breeze on camera. Recently, our team at Videos2B had the pleasure of returning to Bulan Studio in Shenzhen for another exciting collaboration with the Coplax Stylies team. After our previous successful shoots together, we knew we were in for a creative and energetic experience. This time, the mission was ambitious: produce a series of high-quality product videos for the Stylies fan lineup—Antila, Lacerti, Nova, and Tari—each with its own unique features and personality. From cordless portability to 3D oscillation, we had a lot of ground to cover, and we were ready for the challenge.
Shooting in Shenzhen always brings a dynamic energy, and Bulan Studio provided the perfect blank canvas for our vision. With its versatile living room sets, modern home office spaces, and access to stunning outdoor locations like the Civic Center, we had everything we needed to showcase each fan in its ideal environment. The Coplax Stylies team was deeply involved throughout the process, bringing their product expertise and creative input to ensure every shot highlighted the fans' key features—whether it was the Lacerti’s cooling plate, the Nova’s wall-mount capability, or the TARI’s 3D oscillation. Their collaborative spirit made the shoot feel less like work and more like a shared creative adventure.
One of the highlights of this production was the variety of scenes we got to create. For the Lacerti wearable fan, we took the action outdoors, filming Nikola navigating the Civic Center’s sun-dappled paths to emphasize the fan’s on-the-go portability. For the Nova and Antila, we transformed Bulan Studio’s living room and office sets into cozy, stylish spaces that highlighted the fans’ sleek designs and home-friendly features. The TARI required a different approach entirely—capturing its sweeping 3D motion demanded precise camera work and multiple angles to truly convey how its airflow reaches every corner of a room. Each fan had its own story to tell, and our crew worked tirelessly to ensure that story came through clearly in every frame.
Of course, no production is complete without a few memorable moments, and this shoot was no exception. Watching Nikola seamlessly transition from working at a desk to relaxing on a sofa to strolling through the Civic Center—all while keeping cool with a Stylies fan in hand—was a testament to her professionalism and the product’s versatility. The behind-the-scenes energy was equally inspiring: our director meticulously framing each shot, the stylist ensuring every hair movement looked natural yet dramatic, and the Coplax Stylies team enthusiastically reviewing playback to confirm we’d nailed the key messaging. There was a real sense of camaraderie on set, and it’s that collaborative spirit that ultimately elevates a good video into a great one.
Looking back, this project with Coplax Stylies was a reminder of why we love what we do. It’s one thing to list product features on a spec sheet; it’s another to bring them to life through compelling visuals, thoughtful storytelling, and genuine human moments. We’re incredibly proud of the final videos—each one a unique showcase of how the Stylies fan lineup delivers comfort, style, and innovation for modern living. A huge thank you to the Coplax Stylies team for trusting us with their vision, to Nikola for bringing such natural energy to every scene, and to our talented crew in Shenzhen who made it all happen. We can’t wait for the next collaboration.
